Welcome to Romanta Dating and Matching, operating as Romanta Dating. These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Romanta Dating and Matching (“Romanta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The purpose of these Terms is to clearly explain your rights and obligations, as well as ours, before you access or use the Romanta website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

We encourage you to carefully review these Terms before using the Platform. By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using any part of Romanta, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms also incorporate by reference Romanta’s Community Guidelines, Safety Policies, and Privacy Policy, all of which form an integral part of this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Subscription Renewal Notice

If you choose to purchase any paid features or subscription services offered by Romanta for a defined period (the “Initial Term”), please note that your subscription will automatically renew for successive periods equal in length to the Initial Term unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal will occur at Romanta’s then-current subscription rate, which will be disclosed to you prior to billing.

By completing a subscription purchase, you expressly authorize Romanta and its authorized payment processors to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the disclosed billing terms, until you cancel in accordance with Romanta’s cancellation procedures. Romanta complies with the California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) and provides clear and conspicuous disclosure of subscription pricing, renewal frequency, cancellation methods, and transaction confirmations.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Disclosure

These Terms contain important provisions that govern how disputes between you and Romanta are resolved. Subject to limited legal exceptions, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform are required to be resolved through final and binding individual arbitration, rather than through litigation in court.

This arbitration agreement significantly affects your legal rights. Unless you properly opt out of arbitration in accordance with the procedures described in the Dispute Resolution section of these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that:

• (1) any claims must be brought on an individual basis only and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action; and
• (2) you waive your right to have disputes resolved by a judge or jury in a court of law, except where such waiver is prohibited by applicable law.

The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and is intended to be interpreted broadly.

Notice to California Subscribers

If you are a resident of California and purchase a subscription to Romanta, you have the right to cancel your subscription and request a refund before midnight of the third business day following the date of subscription, as required under applicable California consumer protection laws.

If your subscription was purchased through a third-party platform such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, all refunds and billing adjustments are handled directly by that platform in accordance with its own policies, and Romanta does not control the refund determination. In such cases, you must contact the relevant third-party provider for assistance.

If your subscription was purchased directly through Romanta or through one of Romanta’s authorized payment processors, refund and cancellation requests should be submitted through Romanta’s customer support channels.

1. INTRODUCTION AND RULES

In these Terms and Conditions, the words “Romanta,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company” refer to Romanta Dating and Matching, a United States–based dating and matching platform operating under the laws of the State of California. The terms “you” or “your” refer to any individual who accesses or uses the Romanta platform. Together, you and Romanta may be referred to collectively as the “Parties”, or individually as a “Party.”

These Terms govern your access to and use of Romanta’s website, mobile applications, and any related platforms, features, tools, or services made available by Romanta (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the Services, whether registered, unregistered, free users, or paid subscribers.

Your use of the Services is also subject to Romanta’s Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Tips and any additional terms presented to you when purchasing paid features, subscriptions, or other products (“Additional Purchase Terms”), all of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms or any incorporated policies, you must not access or use the Services.

Changes to the Terms and Services

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Romanta reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. In certain circumstances, Romanta may also notify you of changes through email, in-app notifications, or other reasonable means. However, you are responsible for reviewing the Terms regularly.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes and your agreement to be legally bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to any modification, you must immediately stop using the Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any material changes to provisions related to limitation of liability or dispute resolution and arbitration will require your affirmative consent where required by applicable law. Romanta also reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features included in its subscription plans at its discretion.

Account Registration and Eligibility

To access most features of the Services, you must create a user account (“Account”). By registering for an Account, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority required to legally enter a binding contract in your country of residence if that age is higher, and that you are legally permitted to use the Services under applicable law.

Romanta actively monitors for underage use. If we have reason to believe that you do not meet the age requirement, we reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or require verification of your Account.

Accounts may be created through direct registration or by using certain third-party login services where available. If you choose to register using a third-party account, you authorize Romanta to access and use limited information from that service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Details regarding what information is collected and how it is used are explained in the Privacy Policy.

You may not use another person’s account, allow others to access your account, or share your login credentials without authorization. You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your Account and for ensuring that such activity complies with these Terms.

Account Deletion and Content Removal

You may delete your Account at any time through the account settings within the Services. Upon deletion, your profile will no longer be visible to other users. Certain content associated with your Account may take a reasonable period to be fully removed from Romanta’s systems in accordance with our data retention practices and legal obligations. Personal data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you delete your Account and attempt to create a new Account using the same credentials within a limited period, Romanta may reactivate your previous Account at its discretion.

Monitoring, Enforcement, and Account Actions

Romanta uses a combination of automated systems, user s, and human moderation to review accounts and content for compliance with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and applicable law. Romanta reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to restrict access, suspend, or permanently terminate any Account, remove content, or employ technical or operational measures (including blocking IP addresses) to enforce these Terms.

Except where prohibited by mandatory law, Romanta may take enforcement action without prior notice and without liability. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for reasons including, but not limited to: violations of these Terms; conduct that Romanta deems inappropriate, unsafe, fraudulent, or abusive; behaviour toward other users both on and off the platform; or conduct on other platforms operated by Romanta or its affiliates that reflects negatively on the integrity or safety of the Services.

If your Account is suspended or terminated, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund for any previously paid subscriptions or features, except where required by applicable law.

Romanta may provide an appeal process for certain enforcement actions. If you believe an action taken against your Account or content was made in error, you may submit an appeal within a reasonable period by following the instructions provided within the Services or by contacting Romanta support with a detailed explanation.

Platform Access Restrictions

You agree not to access, interfere with, or attempt to use non-public areas of the Services, Romanta’s systems, or technical infrastructure without authorization. Certain features of the Services may be unavailable unless you have registered for an Account or meet specific eligibility requirements.

2. ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY AND USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Before creating an account or using the Services offered by Romanta Dating and Matching (“Romanta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you must ensure that you are legally eligible to do so. This section explains who may use the Services, the responsibilities you agree to undertake as a user, and the limitations and restrictions that apply to your conduct on the platform.

Eligibility Requirements

You are permitted to create an account and use the Services only if all the following conditions are true. By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are a natural person acting in your individual capacity and not on behalf of a corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, and you are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
• You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law;
• You are not accessing or using the Services from a country or region that is subject to United States government embargoes or sanctions, nor from a jurisdiction designated by the U.S. government as supporting terrorism;
• You are not listed on, nor affiliated with, any individual or entity restricted from conducting business with the United States, including but not limited to sanctions lists maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury or other governmental authorities;
• You are not otherwise prohibited by law from using the Services;
• You have not been convicted of, pled guilty to, or pled no contest to a serious criminal offense, including but not limited to violent crimes, sexual offenses, or crimes involving threats of violence, unless applicable law permits use of the Services and Romanta has determined, in its sole discretion, that you do not pose a risk to other users;
• You are not required to register as a sex offender under any local, state, federal, or international registry;
• You do not maintain more than one account on the Romanta platform; and
• You have not previously had an account terminated or suspended by Romanta or any affiliated service, unless you have received express written authorization from Romanta to create a new account.

If at any time you no longer meet these eligibility requirements, your authorization to access or use the Services will automatically terminate, and you must immediately discontinue use of the Services and delete your account. Romanta reserves the right to restrict or remove access to the Services at any time without prior notice where permitted by law.

Your Responsibilities as a User

By using the Services, you agree that you will:

• Comply with these Terms and periodically review them for updates or changes;
• Follow all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations, including those related to privacy, intellectual property, consumer protection, and electronic communications;
• Use only authorized and current versions of the Romanta website and applications;
• Review and adhere to Romanta’s Safety Tips and Community Guidelines, as they may be updated from time to time;
• Take reasonable steps to safeguard your account credentials and prevent unauthorized access to your account.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not engage in conduct that violates these Terms or misuses the Services. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

• Providing false or misleading information regarding your identity, age, background, or affiliations;
• Using the Services in a manner that disrupts, damages, or interferes with the normal operation of the platform or limits other users’ ability to use the Services;
• Attempting to access or interfere with Romanta’s servers, networks, or security systems;
• Using the Services for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes, including financial crimes, fraud, or money laundering;
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, intimidating, defaming, or otherwise abusing or causing harm to other users;
• Requesting or collecting passwords, financial details, or personal information from other users for unauthorized or improper purposes;
• Soliciting money, gifts, or other items of value from other users, whether directly or indirectly;
• Using another user’s account or allowing another person to use your account;
• Engaging in scams, pyramid schemes, or similar deceptive practices;
• Using the Services for political fundraising, campaign financing, or election manipulation, other than sharing personal opinions;
• Violating any license or limited right of use granted to you under these Terms;
• Disclosing confidential or proprietary information that you do not have the legal right to share;
• Copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works from any content, trademarks, or intellectual property available through the Services without Romanta’s prior written consent;
• Implying that your statements or actions are endorsed by Romanta;
• Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access, collect, or extract data from the Services without authorization;
• Introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the Services;
• Manipulating technical identifiers to disguise the origin of transmissions;
• Framing, mirroring, or embedding any portion of the Services without prior written approval;
• Using Romanta’s name, branding, or trademarks in metadata or code to redirect traffic to third-party websites;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code or underlying structure of the Services;
• Developing or using unauthorized third-party applications, including artificial intelligence or machine learning tools, that interact with the Services or user content;
• Accessing or publishing any Romanta application programming interface without written permission;
• Testing or probing the vulnerability of the Services or related systems;
• Encouraging or assisting others to violate these Terms;
• Creating a new account after suspension or termination without Romanta’s express consent; or
• Submitting false, misleading, or abusive reports or appeals regarding other users or content.

Any violation of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and revocation of any license or authorization granted under these Terms.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, share, or distribute content that Romanta determines, in its sole discretion, to be prohibited. Prohibited content includes content that:

• Is offensive, abusive, harassing, or likely to cause psychological distress;
• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, excessively violent, or contains graphic nudity;
• Promotes discrimination, hatred, harassment, or violence based on protected characteristics;
• Encourages or facilitates illegal activity, including terrorism or criminal acts;
• Promotes or glorifies self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous activities, or extremist behaviour;
• Is false, misleading, defamatory, or libelous;
• Primarily relates to commercial solicitation, advertising, promotions, sex work, or transactional relationships;
• Constitutes spam or unsolicited communications;
• Contains malware, spyware, or other harmful code;
• Violates the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Was not created by you or used without proper authorization;
• Includes images or likenesses of individuals without consent, including minors;
• Depicts or implies minors in sexualized or exploitative contexts;
• Is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Services; or
• Could reasonably harm the reputation, integrity, or safety of Romanta or its users.

Posting or sharing prohibited content may result in immediate account suspension or termination, without refund of any paid services, except where required by applicable law.

3. CONTENT

This section explains the rights, responsibilities, and limitations that apply to all content made available on or through Romanta Dating and Matching. By using the Services, you acknowledge that content shared on the platform carries legal and personal responsibilities. Content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our Community Guidelines is strictly prohibited.

While using Romanta Dating and Matching, you may encounter three categories of content:

• (1) content that you personally submit, upload, or create while using the Services (“Your Content”);
• (2) content submitted or shared by other users (“Member Content”); and
• (3) content owned, licensed, or provided by Romanta Dating and Matching (“Our Content”).

For purposes of these Terms, “content” includes, without limitation, written text, photographs, profile information, audio, video, messages exchanged between users, and any other materials accessible through the platform.

Romanta may apply moderation tools, automated systems, or human review to enforce safety, legal compliance, and community standards. Additional information about moderation practices and matching logic may be provided through Romanta’s Safety Center or informational disclosures made available within the Services.

3a. Your Content

You are solely responsible for all content you submit or make available through Romanta Dating and Matching. You should not share anything that you would not want to be publicly visible, that violates these Terms, or that could expose you or Romanta to legal, regulatory, or financial risk.

You acknowledge and agree that you bear full legal responsibility for Your Content. To the maximum extent permitted under California and U.S. law, you agree to indemnify, defend, release, and hold harmless Romanta Dating and Matching, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or related to Your Content.

You represent and warrant that all information you provide—whether directly or through third-party integrations such as social media platforms—is accurate, truthful, and current, and you agree to promptly update your information if it changes.

Content displayed on your profile must be relevant to the intended purpose of the Services, which is social connection and dating. You may not upload prohibited, misleading, unlawful, or unsafe content, and all submissions must comply with Romanta’s Community Guidelines. You are strictly prohibited from posting or displaying personal contact details, financial information, or payment identifiers, whether your own or another person’s. This includes, but is not limited to, physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, website links, bank details, card numbers, or peer-to-peer payment usernames.

Any disclosure of personal information to other users is done entirely at your own risk. Romanta strongly encourages users to exercise caution and good judgment when sharing personal details online.

Your profile and content may be visible to users worldwide. By posting content, you acknowledge that other users may view it and, despite these Terms, may share it outside the platform. By submitting Your Content, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to do so and grant Romanta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and otherwise use Your Content as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Services, subject to applicable law.

Romanta may offer features that allow users to enhance or generate content using platform tools or technologies. Content created or modified using such tools remains Your Content, and you remain fully responsible for its accuracy, legality, and consequences. Romanta is not responsible for decisions or actions taken based on user-generated content.

Romanta reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to review, monitor, restrict, edit, remove, or disable access to Your Content at any time, with or without notice, at its sole discretion, particularly where content violates these Terms, applicable law, or poses a safety or compliance risk. Romanta is under no obligation to display or retain any content.

3b. Member Content

Content shared by other users remains the responsibility of the individual who posted it. Member Content does not belong to you, and you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, store, or use it except as intended within the normal functionality of the Services.

Member Content is stored and displayed at the direction of the user who submitted it. Romanta does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of Member Content. Users may employ tools, filters, or enhancements that could result in content that is incomplete, misleading, biased, offensive, or otherwise inaccurate.

You are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying Member Content before relying on it. Romanta does not endorse or assume liability for actions taken based on interactions or information provided by other users.

Unless expressly authorized in writing by Romanta, you may only use Member Content for personal, non-commercial interactions consistent with the purpose of the platform. You may not use Member Content for advertising, solicitation, harassment, spam, fraud, data extraction, or any unlawful or abusive activity. Misuse of Member Content may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

3c. Our Content

All content provided by Romanta Dating and Matching, excluding user-generated content, is owned by or licensed to Romanta and is protected under U.S. and international intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

This includes, without limitation, software, designs, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, user interfaces, trademarks, service marks, and platform functionality. All rights, title, and interest in Our Content remain exclusively with Romanta Dating and Matching and its licensors.

Romanta grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use Our Content solely for personal, lawful use of the Services in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted, and all rights not expressly provided are reserved by Romanta.

4. INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT, MISCONDUCT, AND REPORTING

Romanta Dating and Matching maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward inappropriate content, abusive behaviour, and misconduct on its platform. Our goal is to foster a respectful, safe, and trustworthy environment for all users, and we take violations of these standards seriously.

We do not permit inappropriate conduct or harmful behaviour, whether it occurs on the Romanta platform or in connection with interactions that originate through the Services. This includes, without limitation, behaviour occurring offline or on third-party platforms where such conduct is connected to the use of Romanta Dating and Matching. Users are strongly encouraged to report any content or behaviour they believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Reports may be submitted directly through in-app reporting tools available on user profiles or within messaging features, or by contacting Romanta customer support. All reports are reviewed using a combination of automated systems, human moderation, and internal review procedures designed to protect user safety and platform integrity.

In accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including California and U.S. regulations, Romanta Dating and Matching may share relevant data internally or with affiliated service providers solely for purposes related to safety, security, fraud prevention, compliance, and enforcement of these Terms. Where we determine that a user has violated these Terms, we may take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting access, suspending or permanently terminating accounts, and preventing the creation of new accounts. You acknowledge and agree that, in certain circumstances, we may be unable to disclose specific details regarding enforcement actions if doing so could compromise the safety, privacy, or rights of other users or the platform.

User-generated content hosted on Romanta Dating and Matching is subject to applicable intellectual property laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content available through the Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a proper DMCA notice in accordance with U.S. law and the procedures outlined in our designated DMCA section.

5. PRIVACY

Your privacy matters to us. Romanta Dating and Matching maintains a separate Privacy Policy that explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including California consumer privacy regulations. You are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy carefully, as it forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. RIGHTS GRANTED TO YOU BY ROMANTA DATING AND MATCHING

Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, Romanta Dating and Matching grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes.

This license allows you to enjoy the features of the platform as made available by Romanta Dating and Matching, but it does not grant you ownership of any part of the Services. Any authorization to access or use the Services is automatically withdrawn if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

7. RIGHTS YOU GRANT TO ROMANTA DATING AND MATCHING

You retain ownership of the content you submit, upload, or share on Romanta Dating and Matching. However, by creating an account and providing content, you grant Romanta Dating and Matching a broad, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content in connection with operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Services.

This license allows Romanta Dating and Matching to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and otherwise make your content available, in whole or in part, across any media or format now known or later developed, solely as necessary to operate and support the platform. The license is non-exclusive, except where derivative works are created directly through the functionality of the Services, in which case Romanta Dating and Matching retains exclusive rights to those specific derivatives, such as platform-generated displays or interface renderings.

To help protect your content from unauthorized use outside the platform, you authorize Romanta Dating and Matching to act on your behalf, at its discretion, in addressing infringing uses of your content taken from the Services. This may include submitting takedown notices under applicable copyright law. Romanta Dating and Matching is not obligated to take enforcement action and does not guarantee removal of infringing material.

This license is subject to your rights under applicable privacy and data protection laws to the extent that your content contains personal information.

In consideration for providing access to the Services, you agree that Romanta Dating and Matching, its affiliates, and its authorized partners may display advertisements and promotional materials within the platform. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Services, you acknowledge that Romanta Dating and Matching may use such feedback freely, without obligation or compensation to you.

Finally, you acknowledge and agree that Romanta Dating and Matching may access, retain, and disclose account information and content where required by law or where reasonably necessary to comply with legal processes, enforce these Terms, respond to claims or support requests, protect the safety and rights of users and the platform, or investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, or other unlawful activity.

8. IDENTIFICATION, AGE, AND DEVICE VERIFICATION

Access to and use of Romanta Dating and Matching is strictly limited to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of legal majority required to enter a binding contract in their country of residence if that age is higher. Romanta Dating and Matching actively monitors for underage activity and reserves the right to restrict, suspend, terminate, or require verification of any account if there is reason to believe a user does not meet the applicable age requirement.

To protect the integrity of the platform, ensure user safety, and comply with applicable United States and California laws, Romanta Dating and Matching may require users to confirm their identity at the time of registration or at any point during continued use of the Services. Verification measures may include, but are not limited to, confirmation of a valid mobile phone number associated with the user’s account, submission of identity-related information, or completion of additional verification steps.

Failure or refusal to complete a requested verification process may result in the inability to create an account. Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right to suspend or permanently close accounts that cannot be adequately verified.

Users are permitted to maintain only one account unless expressly authorized in writing by Romanta Dating and Matching. Accounts found to be duplicated, shared, or created to bypass enforcement actions may be suspended or terminated without notice.

For purposes of fraud prevention, identity validation, compliance with anti-money laundering obligations, and protection against unlawful activity, Romanta Dating and Matching may work with telecommunications providers, verification service partners, or other authorized third parties to validate phone numbers, confirm identity information, or conduct lawful security checks. Any such processing is performed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

9. PURCHASES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND BILLING TERMS

Romanta Dating and Matching offers certain paid products, premium features, subscriptions, and virtual items through its website and applications. Some features of the Services may be used without payment; however, certain functionality may require a purchase or active subscription.

Automatically Renewing Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription through Romanta Dating and Matching, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the applicable billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and any other disclosed charges to your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of your current billing period. After that period ends, your subscription will expire and will not renew.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your Romanta Dating and Matching account. If you wish to permanently close your account, you must do so separately through your account settings.

Romanta Dating and Matching operates internationally, and pricing may vary depending on factors such as geographic location, subscription length, promotional offers, account activity, and available features. Promotional or discounted pricing may be offered for a limited time and may convert to standard pricing at renewal if not cancelled in advance. All pricing details are clearly disclosed before purchase.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right to modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any product, feature, subscription, or promotional offer at any time, and to refuse or restrict transactions where necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or risk management obligations.

External Platform Purchases

Some purchases and subscriptions may be processed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other authorized external services (“External Platforms”). If you make a purchase through an External Platform, that transaction is governed by the platform’s payment terms and billing policies in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions purchased through an External Platform will continue to renew until cancelled through that platform, even if you delete your Romanta Dating and Matching account or remove the application from your device. Any applicable sales or value-added taxes may be charged by the External Platform depending on your location.

Refund requests, billing disputes, and subscription management for External Platform purchases must be handled directly through the relevant External Platform in accordance with its policies.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal through an External Platform, Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account. If a chargeback is later reversed in our favour, you may contact customer support for further assistance.

Direct (Internal) Purchases

Purchases made directly through the Romanta Dating and Matching website or application are processed using the payment method you provide, which may include credit cards, debit cards, or other supported payment options handled by authorized third-party processors.

By making a direct purchase, you authorize Romanta Dating and Matching to charge your payment method for all applicable fees and taxes. You remain responsible for any unpaid balances if a payment fails due to insufficient funds, expiration, or other reasons. We may attempt to reprocess payments using updated billing information provided by your financial institution.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal for a direct purchase, we may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion. If the chargeback is later overturned, you may contact customer support to restore access where appropriate.

Free Trials

From time to time, Romanta Dating and Matching may offer free trial periods for certain subscriptions. If you do not cancel a free trial before it ends, it may automatically convert into a paid subscription at the disclosed rate, and your payment method will be charged.

Free trials must be cancelled before the trial period ends to avoid charges. Deleting your account or removing the application does not cancel a free trial. Eligibility for free trials may be limited and is determined at our discretion.

Virtual Items

Romanta Dating and Matching may offer digital features or credits for purchase (“Virtual Items”). Virtual Items provide a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access specific features within the Services. Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and do not constitute stored value or property.

Ownership of Virtual Items is not transferred to you. Virtual Items may not be sold, transferred, redeemed for cash, or used outside the Services. Any unused Virtual Items will be forfeited if your account is closed, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right to manage, modify, discontinue, or remove Virtual Items at any time without liability, including actions that may affect perceived value.

All purchases and redemptions of Virtual Items are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

10. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION RIGHTS

All purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where refunds are required by applicable law.

California and Certain U.S. States

For users residing in California and other states that provide statutory cancellation rights for dating services, you may cancel a subscription without penalty or obligation before midnight of the third business day following the date of purchase.

If a subscriber passes away or becomes permanently unable to use the Services during an active subscription period, a prorated refund may be issued for the unused portion upon proper notice and documentation, as required by law.

International Users

Refund rights for users outside the United States vary depending on local consumer protection laws. Where applicable, statutory cooling-off periods or partial refund rights may apply. Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

Refund requests must be submitted in accordance with the applicable purchase method. Purchases made through External Platforms must be handled through those platforms. Direct purchases must be requested through Romanta Dating and Matching customer support (customercare@romantadating.com) with appropriate account and order information.

Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription, without penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the date you subscribed. In the event that you die before the end of your subscription period, your estate shall be entitled to a refund of that portion of any payment you had made for your subscription which is allocable to the period after your death. In the event that you become disabled (such that you are unable to use our Services) before the end of your subscription period, you shall be entitled to a refund of that portion of any payment you had made for your subscription which is allocable to the period after your disability by providing the Company notice in the same manner as you request a refund as described below.

If any of the above apply to you and you subscribed using your Apple ID, your refund requests are handled by Apple, not Romanta. To request a refund, please contact your External Service directly; for example using your Apple device, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > [click on your Apple ID] > View Apple ID > Purchase History. Find the transaction and select "Report a Problem." You can also request a refund at Apple Support. For any other purchase, please contact Romanta Customer Service (customercare@romantadating.com) with your order number by mailing or delivering a signed and dated notice which states that you, the buyer, are cancelling this Agreement, or words of similar effect. Please also include the email address or telephone number associated with your account along with your order number.

11. ACCOUNT TERMINATION AND CLOSURE

If you choose to stop using Romanta Dating and Matching, or if your account is suspended or terminated by us, the following terms apply.

Voluntary Account Deletion

You may close your Romanta Dating and Matching account at any time by logging into the website or mobile application, navigating to Settings, then Security, selecting Delete Account, and completing the on-screen instructions.

Deleting your account removes your profile from public view; however, deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. If you purchased a subscription or other paid feature through a third-party platform (such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or another external provider), you must separately manage or cancel that subscription through the applicable third-party account to avoid additional charges.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund for any fees already paid, and your subscription benefits will remain available until the end of the paid billing period.

Termination or Suspension by Romanta Dating and Matching

Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide prior notice, to investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you have:

• Violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or related policies
• Misused the Services or attempted to circumvent safeguards
• Engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or unlawful behavior
• Created or operated multiple accounts in violation of our rules
• Posed a risk to other users, our platform, or our business operations

Such actions may occur whether the conduct takes place on or off the Services, where permitted by law.

Enforcement actions may include, without limitation: issuing warnings, removing or restricting access to User Content, suspending or permanently closing accounts, cancelling subscriptions without refund (except where legally required), blocking future account creation, and taking technical, administrative, or legal measures necessary to enforce these Terms.

Law Enforcement and Legal Compliance

Where required or permitted by law, Romanta Dating and Matching may preserve, disclose, or provide account information and User Content to comply with legal obligations, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful requests from regulatory or law enforcement authorities. We may also cooperate with investigations relating to fraud, safety threats, intellectual property infringement, or other unlawful activity.

Effect of Termination

Termination or closure of your account results in the loss of access to your account, profile, matches, messages, subscriptions, and any virtual items or features associated with the account. Except where required by applicable law, no refunds will be issued for unused subscription time, virtual items, or other paid features.

If your account is terminated or closed for any reason, these Terms remain binding between you and Romanta Dating and Matching to the extent permitted by law.

Survival of Terms

All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including but not limited to dispute resolution and arbitration provisions, limitation of liability, indemnification obligations, intellectual property rights, payment obligations, and warranty disclaimers.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your personal information will be retained, anonymized, or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable data protection laws (including California privacy regulations), and legal retention requirements. Certain information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent fraud.

Effective Period

These Terms take effect on the date you accept them and remain in force until your account is closed or terminated in accordance with this section.

12. NO CRIMINAL BACKGROUND OR FULL IDENTITY SCREENING

Romanta Dating and Matching does not routinely perform criminal background checks or comprehensive identity verification screenings on its users. While we take reasonable measures to promote a respectful and safer community, we do not control, verify, or guarantee the conduct of any user, whether their actions occur on or off the Services. Users are encouraged to always exercise sound judgment and to review and follow our Safety Tips.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ROMANTA DATING AND MATCHING DOES NOT, AS A MATTER OF COURSE, CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS, SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY SEARCHES, OR FULL IDENTITY VERIFICATION OF USERS, NOR DO WE INQUIRE INTO OR CONFIRM THE BACKGROUND OF USERS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE IDENTITY, CHARACTER, INTENTIONS, HEALTH, LEGITIMACY, OR CONDUCT OF ANY USER.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to conduct background checks, identity verification, fraud prevention checks, or other screenings at any time using publicly available records, third-party services, or legally permissible data sources. By using the Services, you expressly authorize us to carry out such checks where we deem them necessary for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

If any screening is conducted through a consumer reporting agency, you expressly consent to Romanta Dating and Matching obtaining and using a consumer report about you, in accordance with applicable U.S. federal law (including the Fair Credit Reporting Act where applicable), California law, and our Privacy Policy, solely for purposes of determining eligibility, safety, or compliance with these Terms.

13. USER RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY DISCLAIMER

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Romanta Dating and Matching cannot and does not guarantee your personal safety and is not a substitute for exercising caution, good judgment, or following basic safety practices when communicating with or meeting others.

Messages, matches, profiles, and notifications generated through the Services, including automated notifications, may result from user activity that is inappropriate, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or otherwise improper. We do not verify the truthfulness or intentions behind such communications.

You agree to take appropriate precautions in all interactions, particularly if you choose to communicate outside the Services or meet another user in person. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting in public places, informing trusted individuals, and discontinuing interaction if you feel unsafe.

14. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR USER CONDUCT

Although Romanta Dating and Matching strives to encourage respectful behavior and provides tools for reporting and blocking users, we are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or behavior of any user, whether occurring on or off the Services. Your use of the Services and interactions with other users are undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

15. DISCLAIMER

Romanta Dating and Matching provides its website, mobile application, services, platform features, content made available by Romanta, and content posted or shared by users strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Romanta makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

Romanta does not guarantee or promise that any connections, matches, communications, or interactions facilitated through the Services will result in compatibility, relationships, success, or desired outcomes. Any matching or recommendation features are provided for informational and social purposes only and do not constitute guarantees of compatibility or behavior.

Where applicable law does not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, Romanta provides only the minimum warranties required by law, and no additional warranties shall be implied. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from Romanta or through the Services shall create any warranty not expressly stated in this section.

Romanta does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free from defects, nor does it warrant that any errors will be corrected. Romanta makes no representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content available on or through the Services, including user-generated content. Your use of the Services is entirely at your own risk.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, whether online or offline. Romanta is not responsible or liable for the conduct, actions, communications, or behavior of any user. Romanta does not routinely perform criminal background checks, identity verification checks, or screenings of its users, and makes no assurances regarding the identity, intentions, legitimacy, health, or conduct of any individual using the Services.

Romanta assumes no responsibility for any content posted, transmitted, received, or acted upon by you, other users, or third parties through the Services. Any materials or information obtained through the Services are accessed at your own discretion and risk.

Romanta shall not be responsible for any damage to your devices, software, data, or other property resulting from your access to or use of the Services, including but not limited to damage arising from security breaches, viruses, malware, hacking, fraud, system interruptions, transmission delays, technical failures, or other disruptions beyond Romanta’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer rights available to you under applicable California or United States law.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Romanta Dating and Matching, including its owners, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, licensors, and service providers, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, enhanced, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, business opportunities, or any other intangible losses, as well as damage to property or claims asserted by third parties, arising out of or related to your access to, use of, or inability to use the Romanta website, mobile application, services, features, Romanta-provided content, or user-generated content.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which liability is asserted, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statutory duty, misrepresentation, product liability, or any other cause of action, even if Romanta has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the Services, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue your use of the Services.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to waive all claims arising from or related to your use of the Services. However, because some jurisdictions, including California, do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some of the limitations set forth in this section may not apply to you.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, Romanta’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or (b) the total amount actually paid by you to Romanta for Services during the twenty-four (24) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations apply to all claims, whether statutory, contractual, equitable, or otherwise, and regardless of whether a remedy is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded under applicable federal or California law.

The parties acknowledge that this limitation of liability is a fundamental element of the agreement between you and Romanta Dating and Matching, reflects a reasonable allocation of risk, and that the Services would not be provided without these limitations.

17. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS AND LOCATION-BASED FEATURES

Romanta Dating and Matching may send you communications related to your use of the Services, including emails, text messages, in-app messages, push notifications, alerts, and similar communications. These communications may include service updates, account-related information, feature enhancements, safety notices, promotional offers, events, or other information related to Romanta.

When you install or access the Romanta mobile application, you may be prompted to allow or decline push notifications. If you choose not to enable push notifications, you will not receive such alerts through your device. If you choose to enable them, push notifications may be delivered automatically. You may disable push notifications at any time by adjusting the notification settings on your mobile device.

For other forms of communication, such as marketing emails or text messages, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages or by contacting Romanta through the contact details provided in the Services. Please note that opting out of promotional communications does not affect Romanta’s ability to send you essential service-related or legally required messages, such as account security alerts, billing notices, or changes to our terms or policies.

Certain features of the Services rely on location-based functionality. Romanta may use location information to enable features such as nearby matches, distance indicators, localized content, or region-specific services. Your approximate or precise location may be determined using technologies such as GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi signals, IP address data, or software features available on your device.

If you disable location services on your device or do not grant Romanta permission to access location data, some location-based features may be unavailable or may not function properly. You remain in control of your location permissions and may modify them at any time through your device settings.

Romanta collects, uses, stores, and retains location and communication-related data in accordance with applicable U.S. and California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, and as further described in our Privacy Policy. 18. ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Romanta Dating and Matching may display advertisements, sponsored content, promotional materials, or other third-party offerings within its website, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the “Services”). These advertisements and promotions may be provided by independent third parties and are presented solely for informational or promotional purposes.

Romanta Dating and Matching does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, offers, or content that may be displayed, linked, or otherwise made available through the Services. Any interactions, transactions, or communications you choose to have with advertisers or third-party providers are strictly between you and the applicable third party, and are governed by that third party’s own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

The Services may also include links, references, or access to external websites, platforms, applications, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Romanta Dating and Matching. We do not control, monitor, or maintain these external resources and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, security, or business practices. Accessing third-party websites or services is done at your own discretion and risk.

In certain circumstances, Romanta Dating and Matching may allow users to view advertisements, sponsored content, or promotional materials in exchange for virtual items, features, credits, or other in-app benefits. Eligibility for such offers is not guaranteed, may be limited, and may change or be discontinued at any time without notice. Romanta Dating and Matching makes no guarantees regarding the availability, frequency, or value of such advertising-based opportunities.

Romanta Dating and Matching is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, claim, or issue arising out of or related to third-party advertisements, promotions, products, services, or content, including but not limited to misleading statements, failed transactions, data practices, or customer support issues. Any concerns regarding third-party offerings must be directed to the relevant third party.

This section is intended to comply with applicable U.S. federal laws, California consumer protection and advertising laws, and applicable payment processor requirements, and does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

19. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT CLAIMS AND DMCA NOTICE PROCEDURE

Romanta Dating and Matching respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), Romanta Dating and Matching has adopted a procedure for receiving and responding to claims of copyright infringement relating to content made available through its website, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the “Services”).

If you believe that any content accessible through the Services infringes a copyright that you own or control, you may submit a formal notification requesting removal of the allegedly infringing material (a “DMCA Takedown Notice”) to Romanta Dating and Matching’s designated Copyright Agent.

To be valid under the DMCA, your Takedown Notice must include all of the following information:

• You must provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. You must clearly identify the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If the notice covers multiple copyrighted works available on the Services, you may provide a representative list of those works.
• You must identify the specific material you believe to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity and provide sufficient information to allow Romanta Dating and Matching to locate the material, such as URLs, usernames, message identifiers, or screenshots, where applicable.
• You must include contact information reasonably sufficient to allow Romanta Dating and Matching to communicate with you, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
• You must include a statement confirming that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or applicable law.
• Finally, you must include a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

DMCA Takedown Notices should be submitted to Romanta Dating and Matching’s designated Copyright Agent using the contact information provided below:

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, Romanta Dating and Matching will review the claim and, where required by law, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Romanta Dating and Matching may also notify the user who posted the content and provide information regarding counter-notification rights as permitted under the DMCA.

Romanta Dating and Matching reserves the right to terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers, in compliance with applicable U.S. copyright law.

20. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Please read this arbitration agreement in this Section (“Arbitration Agreement”) carefully. Unless you opt out as provided herein, this Arbitration Agreement requires you and Romanta Dating and Matching (“Romanta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than in court, except as specifically permitted for small claims or equitable relief.

1. Scope of This Arbitration Agreement

This Arbitration Agreement applies to all disputes or claims of any kind, whether based in contract, tort, statute, regulation, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal or equitable theory, arising from or relating to:

• Your use of Romanta Dating and Matching services or platforms.
• Any prior versions of these Terms.
• Any aspect of your relationship with Romanta.

It also covers claims that may have arisen before your acceptance of these Terms. You and Romanta agree that disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration unless you or Romanta choose to bring a claim in small claims court (if eligible) or seek equitable relief in court for intellectual property infringement.

2. Notice of Dispute and Informal Resolution

Before initiating arbitration, you and Romanta agree to notify each other in writing and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Notice by you: Send a written notice describing your dispute and the relief you seek to our registered agent:

Include:

• Your full name, email, mailing address, and phone number;
• Information to identify your account (profile screenshot, account email, or phone);
• A detailed description of your dispute, including the factual basis and damages sought.

Notice by Romanta: We will send notice to your current email or mailing address on file, including a detailed description of our claim and requested relief.

Both parties must attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith, including participation in teleconferences or video calls. All communications, offers, and statements made during this informal resolution process are confidential and cannot be used in subsequent proceedings, except to certify that the informal process was followed.

This informal resolution must last no more than 60 days unless both parties agree to extend it. If the dispute is unresolved, arbitration or eligible small claims action may proceed.

3. Initiating Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, either party may commence arbitration by sending a Demand for Arbitration to the arbitration provider:

• California residents: ADR Services, Inc., under its current rules (https://www.adrservices.com/services-2/arbitration-rules/).
• Non-California U.S. residents: National Arbitration and Mediation (“NAM”) under its current Comprehensive Dispute Resolution Rules (https://www.namadr.com/resources/rules-fees-forms).

If the chosen arbitration provider is unavailable, the parties will select a mutually agreed alternative. If no agreement is reached, a court may appoint a suitable arbitrator.

The Demand for Arbitration must include:

• Claiming party’s full name and contact information;
• Account information if applicable;
• Detailed description of the dispute and requested relief;
• Confirmation that the informal resolution process was completed.

The initiating party is responsible for filing fees. Other costs follow the arbitration provider’s rules, unless the arbitrator determines a claim is frivolous. Romanta will consider waiving fees for parties demonstrating financial hardship.

4. Arbitrator Authority and Rules

• Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral, single arbitrator.
• The arbitrator must apply these Terms and applicable law (California law, U.S. federal law, or as specified in these Terms).
• Arbitrator may award monetary and non-monetary relief, consistent with what a court could award.
• The arbitrator can modify any arbitration term found to be fundamentally unfair, ensuring a fair process.
• Arbitrator decisions are final and binding between you and Romanta, with limited court review.

5. Individual Arbitration; No Class or Collective Claims

All disputes must be arbitrated individually, not as a class, collective, or representative action. Relief is limited to the individual party bringing the claim. Mass filings, batch arbitration, or bellwether arbitration are described below and may be used for efficiency.

6. Small Claims Court

You or Romanta may elect to resolve a dispute in small claims court instead of arbitration if eligible. If arbitration has been initiated, the case will be administratively closed. Any dispute regarding the small claims court’s jurisdiction is determined by that court only. Other claims proceed to arbitration.

7. Mass Filings and Bellwether Arbitration

If 30 or more similar demands are filed by or against Romanta in a short period, the case may be handled as a Mass Filing:

• Bellwether cases: A small number of initial claims (e.g., 10) will proceed first to establish precedent.
• Global Mediation: Remaining claims may be resolved through mediation following Bellwether decisions.
• Batch Arbitration: If unresolved, remaining claims may proceed in batches, with one arbitrator per batch and shared procedural rules.

Filing fees for non-bellwether or batched cases may be deferred until resolved.

8. Settlement Offers

Either party may make a written settlement offer before the arbitration hearing. If the other party rejects the offer and fails to obtain a more favourable award, the rejecting party may be responsible for post-offer costs.

9. Opt-Out of Arbitration

You may opt out of this Arbitration Agreement within 30 days of agreeing to these Terms by sending written notice to: arbitrationoptout@romantadating.com

Include sufficient information to identify your account and a statement that you are opting out. Opting out only applies retroactively to claims accrued before your consent. Post-consent claims remain subject to arbitration.

10. Survival of Agreement

The terms of this Arbitration Agreement remain in effect even after your relationship with Romanta has ended.

21. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement and any disputes arising from or related to your use of the services provided by Romanta Dating and Matching (“Romanta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

All disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Services, or your use thereof, including but not limited to disputes concerning contracts, torts, privacy, content, payments, or user interactions, shall be resolved in accordance with California law and the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), as applicable. The FAA governs the enforcement of arbitration agreements and the resolution of disputes through binding arbitration as described in the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration section of this Agreement.

For users accessing Romanta’s Services from outside the United States, including the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), the choice of California law shall apply except where prohibited by mandatory local consumer protection laws. In such cases, the relevant mandatory laws of your country will govern to the extent necessary to comply with local legal requirements, while the remaining provisions of this Agreement, including arbitration procedures, shall remain fully enforceable.

This Governing Law provision ensures that disputes are resolved in a predictable legal framework, provides compliance with U.S. federal and California state law, and maintains compatibility with global legal requirements for international users and payment processors.

22. MISCELLANEOUS

Before using Romanta Dating and Matching (“Romanta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), there are several additional important provisions you should understand.

Entire Agreement and Updates

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Romanta regarding your use of our Services. They supersede all prior agreements, negotiations, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral, except as explicitly stated herein. Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Information Accuracy and Use of Services

Romanta does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Romanta is not responsible for any damage to your hardware, software, or other technology resulting from your use of the Services, including but not limited to damage caused by security breaches, malware, tampering, fraud, network failures, or other technical malfunctions.

Electronic Communications

By using Romanta, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including notifications, emails, and other messages regarding your account, updates, or promotions. For contractual purposes, these electronic communications are considered valid and legally binding as if provided in writing, in compliance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign Act, 15 U.S.C. §7001 et seq.).

Changes to Terms

Romanta may modify, update, or amend these Terms at any time (“Changes”). Changes will be posted on this page with an Effective Date indicated at the bottom. In some cases, we may notify you via email or request your agreement to the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Services after such Changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, and you will be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to the Changes, you should immediately stop using the Services.

Severability

Romanta is a global platform operating servers in multiple countries, including the United States. Users in countries with data protection laws should be aware that your personal data may be stored, processed, or transferred internationally. By providing personal information or upgrading services, you consent to such transfers, storage, and processing in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Links and Content

The Services may include links to third-party websites or resources. Romanta is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or products/services of these third-party resources. Links do not constitute an endorsement. You assume all risk arising from interaction with these third-party resources. Methods such as framing or in-line linking are prohibited without our prior written consent.

Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. Romanta may assign or transfer its rights freely.

Language Precedence

In the event of any discrepancy between the English version and any translation of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.

• Any violation of this Agreement or any applicable law or regulation.
• Any infringement of intellectual property or other rights of third parties.

You acknowledge that some jurisdictions do not allow broad indemnification clauses, and therefore, portions of this section may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

24. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using Romanta Dating and Matching, you explicitly agree to be bound by all applicable terms set forth in this Agreement, including:

• These Terms of Use, as may be updated or amended from time to time.
• Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Tips.
• Any Additional Terms Upon Purchase that may apply to paid services or subscriptions.

If you do not agree to all terms in this Agreement, you are not authorized to access or use Romanta’s Services.

All references to pronouns in this Agreement, and any variations thereof, shall be deemed to include masculine, feminine, neuter, singular, or plural forms as appropriate to the context or identity of the person or entity involved.

25. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Tips, and any Additional Terms Upon Purchase, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between you and Romanta regarding your use of our Services. It supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the Services.

If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Failure by Romanta to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or any other provision.

Your account with Romanta is non-transferable, and all rights to your account and its content terminate upon your death, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Rights and licenses granted to you under this Agreement cannot be transferred or assigned, while Romanta may freely assign its rights and obligations.

Nothing in this Agreement creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, employment, or other special relationship between you and Romanta, and you may not make representations or commitments on behalf of Romanta or bind Romanta in any way.

26. ROMANTA DATING AND MATCHING

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the user (“you”), and Romanta Dating and Matching (“we,” “our,” or “us”). For the purposes of this Agreement, Romanta Dating and Matching includes, but is not limited to, all affiliated entities, subsidiaries, and corporate structures through which we operate, manage, or provide our Services, regardless of jurisdiction. This includes, without limitation, any U.S. or foreign corporate entities, limited liability companies, or subsidiaries that may participate in the provision of services, processing of payments, management of accounts, or administration of user data.

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that you are entering into this agreement with Romanta Dating and Matching as a whole, and that all entities included under this umbrella are covered by, and bound by, these Terms of Use.
