Welcome to Romanta

Romanta Dating and Matching is an adult-focused, international dating and matchmaking platform headquartered in the United States, with operations governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable U.S. federal law. Romanta exists to foster genuine, respectful, and meaningful connections between adults.

These Community Guidelines establish clear expectations for acceptable conduct, both on and, where relevant, off the platform, so that all members can engage in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in enforcement actions ranging from warnings to permanent account termination.

CORE PRINCIPLES

1. Respect Personal Boundaries and Consent

Every member has different comfort levels. Public profiles must remain appropriate and non-explicit. Nudity, pornographic material, sexual services, or explicit sexual requests are not permitted in profiles or public-facing areas.

Private conversations may include mature discussions only where all parties have clearly consented. Consent is always essential, and any content or behaviour that disregards another user’s boundaries is prohibited.

2. Share Information Thoughtfully

Members must exercise caution when sharing personal details. Public profiles may not include private contact information such as phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, financial details, or social media handles.

You must not request or pressure others to disclose sensitive personal or financial information. Requests for money, investments, gifts, or financial assistance are strongly discouraged and may indicate fraudulent activity.

3. Zero Tolerance for Violence or Self-Harm Content

Romanta does not allow content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies violence, graphic injury, death, weapons, or harm to people or animals.

Content encouraging self-harm or suicide is strictly prohibited. If we believe there is a credible risk of imminent harm, Romanta may intervene by restricting access and/or providing crisis or support resources where appropriate.

4. Personal Connections Only — No Commercial Use

Romanta is for personal relationships, not commercial activity. You may not use the platform to:

  • Advertise or promote businesses, products, or services
  • Fundraise, solicit donations, or campaign
  • Gain social media followers
  • Engage in sex work, escorting, or compensated dating arrangements
  • Recruit for third-party platforms or schemes

Accounts used primarily for commercial or transactional purposes will be removed.

5. Authentic Identity Required

Members must represent themselves honestly. Creating fake profiles, impersonating others, misrepresenting age, identity, relationship status, or intentions is prohibited, even if intended as a joke.

Everyone may maintain only one active Romanta account at any time.

6. Respectful Communication Standards

All interactions must be conducted with courtesy and respect. Romanta strictly prohibits:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, health status, or appearance
  • Doxxing, blackmail, sextortion, or coercion

Disagreements may occur, but abusive conduct is never acceptable. If a connection is not a match, members are encouraged to disengage respectfully.

7. Kindness and Safety First

Any behaviour, online or offline, that causes, threatens, or encourages harm to another person is taken extremely seriously. This includes incitement, stalking, coercion, or intimidation.

If you experience harm involving another Romanta user, prioritize your safety first. Reporting concerns to Romanta is optional but encouraged and helps protect the wider community.

8. Adults Only (18+)

Romanta is strictly limited to adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).

Profiles may not contain images of minors, including childhood photos of yourself, whether clothed or unclothed. Any content involving minors will result in immediate termination and may be reported to authorities.

9. Compliance With the Law

Illegal activity is never permitted. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drug sales or trafficking
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Fraud or financial deception
  • Human trafficking or exploitation
  • Any activity involving harm to minors

Romanta cooperates fully with law enforcement when legally required.

10. One Account Per Person

Accounts are individual and non-shareable. Multiple accounts, shared access, or account farming is not allowed and may result in permanent removal.

11. Post Only Content You Have Rights To

You may only upload content you own or have permission to share. Do not post private conversations, images of others, or copyrighted material without proper authorization.

12. Platform Integrity and Fair Use

Members may not:

  • Spam or send malicious links
  • Spread false or misleading information
  • Manipulate the platform or exploit features
  • Use bots, automation tools, or unauthorized third-party software
  • Submit false or abusive reports

Abuse of Romanta’s systems, staff, or reporting tools will result in enforcement action.

13. Account Activity and Inactivity

Accounts inactive for an extended period (generally 24 months) may be deactivated or deleted to maintain platform quality and data integrity.

REPORTING AND ENFORCEMENT

Members are encouraged to report violations using in-app reporting tools or by contacting Customer Support:

Reports are handled confidentially and reviewed carefully.

Enforcement Actions

Depending on severity and frequency, Romanta may take actions including:

  • Content removal
  • Warnings
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Blocking associated payment methods
  • Termination of premium or matchmaking services without refund in cases of serious misconduct

Romanta reserves the right to investigate and act on conduct occurring outside the platform if it involves interactions initiated through Romanta.
